UDYOGDOST · PRIVACY
Privacy policy
Effective date: November 2, 2026
UdyogDost helps workers and employers connect, beginning in Ibrahimpatnam, Telangana. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, account type, and sign-in information when you create an account. Passwords are handled by our authentication service and are not stored as readable passwords.
- Authentication activity: account creation, successful sign-in and sign-out times, sign-in method, IP address, and browser/device details sent with the request. We use these details to help protect accounts. Authorized administrators can see browser/device details in the activity table; IP addresses are not displayed there. Passwords, verification codes, and session tokens are not included in this activity log.
- Review history: when an authorized administrator approves or rejects a job request or reviews a worker profile, we record the administrator, the decision, the related record, and the time. This helps us maintain accountability for private reviews.
- Worker profile details: phone number, location, work categories, skills, availability, and your profile-sharing choice. If you respond to a job, we also record that response and when you agreed to share your contact details.
- Employer details: phone number, organization name, area, job-request details such as job title, work location, description, openings, and optional pay range and work hours. Employers may also choose to share their device location or select a suggested area to save precise coordinates and a preferred hiring radius; these coordinates are kept in the private account. When an employer uses area suggestions, the search text is sent to Photon, which uses OpenStreetMap data, to find matching places. Saved coordinates are not sent with that search.
- Technical information: information needed to operate and protect the service, such as basic request and security logs from our hosting provider.
Google sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in, Google shares basic account information with us, such as your name, email address, and profile image if available. We use it to sign you in and associate your UdyogDost account. We do not access your Gmail, contacts, files, or other Google services. We do not sell Google user data or share it with employers for advertising.
How we use information
- To create and secure your account and provide worker or employer features.
- To review job requests and help workers and employers connect.
- To contact you about your account, profile, or request.
- To help detect and investigate unauthorized account access.
- To prevent misuse, maintain the service, and meet legal obligations.
What other people can see
Worker profiles are private by default. If a worker opts in to private matching, an authorized UdyogDost administrator can review the profile to help with matching. Employers cannot browse worker profiles. When a worker chooses “I’m interested” for a specific job and agrees to share their name and phone number, only that job’s employer can see those contact details for that response. A worker can withdraw their response, which removes it from the employer’s interested-worker list. Employer contact details and precise employer coordinates are not displayed publicly. A job’s title, location, and description, plus any optional pay range and work hours, may appear publicly only after the employer has given permission and UdyogDost has reviewed the request.
When an employer chooses to contact an interested worker, a WhatsApp link opens a prepared message in WhatsApp. The employer decides whether to send it. When you choose a WhatsApp link, you leave UdyogDost and open WhatsApp. If you send a message, WhatsApp receives and handles it under its own privacy policy. UdyogDost does not receive the message unless you or the recipient separately share its contents with us.
Storage and service providers
UdyogDost uses Cloudflare to host the website, process requests, and store account and profile information in Cloudflare D1. Google provides Google sign-in when you choose it. Photon provides employer area suggestions using OpenStreetMap data when you type a place search. These providers process information to provide their services under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and your choices
We keep information while it is needed to provide and protect the service. Authentication and review activity records are automatically deleted after 90 days. Deleting an account also deletes authentication records tied to it. Automated deletion periods for inactive accounts and expired job requests have not yet been set up. You can ask to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing us. We will review the request and retain information only where needed to resolve the request, protect the service, or meet legal obligations.
Cookies and security
Sign-in uses necessary session cookies so the service can remember that you are logged in. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
UdyogDost is intended for adults seeking work or hiring. We do not knowingly ask children under 18 to create accounts.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the current version on this page and update the effective date.
